Cloudbusting: 40 Years of Kate Bush

Details Information

It's forty years since The Kick Inside announced to the world the genius of Kate Bush.

Time and again since that remarkable debut, Kate has secured her place in music history with ground-breaking albums such as The Dreaming, Hounds of Love and Aerial. Her triumphant Before the Dawn shows at the Hammersmith Apollo sold out in minutes and changed perceptions of what a concert could be for ever. Influenced by none, influencing many, there is truly no other artist like her. …

Performing the music of Kate Bush with an authenticity and passion which has won acclaim from across Europe, CLOUDBUSTING have been championed by BBC1 as amongst the top twenty tributes in the world. 2018 sees the five-piece band celebrating the anniversary of This Woman’s Work in theatres up and down the UK with a new show, FORTY YEARS OF KATE.

The show will centre around a performance of The Kick Inside in its entirety, songs like Wuthering Heights, The Saxophone Song and The Man with the Child in his Eyes staged against eye-popping visuals and projections. The rest of Kate’s career will be represented by a vibrant choice of hits and album classics that could leave no Kate Bush fan disappointed.

Accolades for the Mandy Watson’s vocals and the band’s superb musicianship continue to pour in from all sources; Kate’s own musical collaborators, press and radio and most significantly, Kate’s own hard-core fans.

‘Utterly, surreally brilliant!’ Mick Wall, Classic Rock Magazine

‘The UK’s finest KB tribute!’ HomeGround & KateBushNews.com

‘I could have been listening to Kate herself!' Preston Heyman, Kate’s stage and studio drummer
