Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of The Capitol Horsham , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for The Capitol Horsham:

  1. The booking system cannot be used via keyboard only: The booking system is a third-party plug-in and cannot be changed. Alternative methods of booking a ticket include calling 01403 750220, emailing contact@thecapitolhorsham.com, or visiting in person. If you encounter any issues, please let us know so that we can report them to the third party.
  2. Clarification on the ‘4 events’ row on the homepage: The ‘4 events’ row on the homepage represents a selection of events that are currently being promoted. It is important to note that these events are not the only shows available and there are more shows on offer.
  3. ‘Book Tickets’ buttons on the homepage: There is no indication or label provided for the ‘Book Tickets’ buttons on the homepage, which makes it unclear which event the user will be booking tickets for. The images associated with the events have adequate alt text and the headers are clearly titled, so most users should be able to discern where the book tickets button goes or can review all the events on the What’s On Page.
  4. No perceivable way to close the menu using the keyboard: Currently, there is no apparent method to close the menu using the keyboard. Although this does not create a keyboard trap or affect navigation through the page, the menu remains open unless an item is selected. This means that if a user wants to continue tabbing through the rest of the page, the menu will remain open.
