Everyone has their own chimera, or impossible dream. Arthur is a lovelorn Englishman recently let out of prison and adrift in Italy. He joins a group of gravediggers seeking Etruscan artefacts, hoping riches
will change his life. But when he is drawn to the former maid of his dead girlfriend’s mother, past and present become intertwined.
