The Capitol comprises three auditoria, a gallery and bar/café.
The Theatre
The theatre is a beautiful Art Deco style auditorium with a maximum of 410 seats on two raked levels. There is an orchestra pit (which reduces seating capacity when in use) and a large stage with full flying facilities.
The theatre is also equipped with the latest digital projection equipment and extensive lighting and sound facilities.
The Studio
The studio is a multi-purpose space with retractable tiered seating with stage area and theatre lighting and sound facilities. The room is on the first floor and has a licensed capacity of 100.
Screen 1
Seating 175 and on the first floor, this cinema is equipped with digital projection equipment and is suitable for use as a lecture theatre as well as film presentation.
Screen 2
Seating 89 and on the ground floor, this cinema is equipped with digital projection equipment and is also suitable for use as a lecture theatre as well as film presentation.
