The Capitol Horsham

Ollie Heath - Let's Make Music!

Details Information

A Horsham District Year of Culture Event

undefined

Ollie Heath is a qualified Teacher and professional musician who realises that rhythm is something inherent within us all, and uses rap, rhythm and rhyme to speak to people in a language they understand.

Ollie regularly runs school workshops which have a lasting effect on the children including building confidence, relieving stress, encouraging team building and discouraging bullying.

But it’s not just children that benefit from Ollie’s techniques! – Ollie also runs sessions for teachers and other adults who, like the children, have benefited from Ollie’s rhythmic techniques.

“Let’s Make Music!” is an educational, interactive school holiday activity aimed and children and their families. Ollie will lead the audience with activities that involve beat-boxing, rap and rhythmic techniques.

By the end of the show the entire audience will have the chance to collectively “Make Music!”

As part of the Horsham District Year of Culture, The Capitol will be hosting a small number of one-off events. These may be larger shows than we might usually accommodate, or simply special things that we think have a particularly interesting cultural appeal. Watch out for the Year of Culture logo throughout the year on our website. To find out more about the Year of Culture click here.
