Gustav Möller’s high-concept, low budget debut is a deft, taut and muscular thriller shot in real time. In a police station somewhere in Denmark, police officer Asger (Jakob Cedergren) has been consigned to phone duties – reluctantly so until he takes a shivery, cryptic call from Iben (Jessica Dinnage). She’s been kidnapped, Asger finds out, before the call is abruptly disconnected. But confined to the station, what can he do? An unrelenting and strongly performed Nordic noir, Möller’s nail-biting thriller makes intelligent use of the elements at his disposal.
